WA Tour 9 Results

SGA Tour (WA) - May 20 2012 - Maylands Golf Course

The 9th WA SGA Tour event for 2012 was held at Maylands Golf Course with players competing for over $250 of prizes and Tour members playing for Order of Merit (OOM) points. Thanks to Social Golf Australia sponsors Drummond Golf, Wilson Staff  and bwired for supporting the event.

We had a awesome day with perfect weather: bright sunshine and no breeze to speak of. We had a first couple win the 4BBB this week with Brenda Soon & Shane Will scoring 48 points to take the first place honours. We had a countback for second and third places with three teams tied on 46 points. In the finish, Ray Crosthwaite & Ron Smith took second place, edging out Adam Turner & Aaron Collyer into third. Craig Roberts & Simon Bliston also scored 46 points and were fourth on countback.

Note that for the Order of Merit, there are no countbacks and golfers tied on the same score each receive the same OOM points. A player needs to join as a Member of the SGA Tour before receiving OOM points at an event. For info on Tour Membership, see the About the Tour page.

Field: 32 golfers - 28 with handicaps & four social players.
