2016 International

2016 SGA International Results

SGA_International_150_logo.jpg

Through our partnership with Golf Savers, Social Golf Australia (SGA) hosts one event each year outside Australia: The SGA International. The event was played for the first time in Pattaya, Thailand from March 17 - 24, 2012 and was SGA's first annual international event. An SGA representative attends and hosts the event each year and this event has now developed into a great tournament that is a highlight of our annual event schedule.

The 2016 SGA International is a 72-hole stableford tournament held at four of the leading golf courses in Pattaya. Round 1 will be held at the unique, links-style par-74 St Andrews 2000 Golf Club, featuring 2 challenging par-6 holes. Round 2 will be held at the Burapha Golf Club, co-designed by Gary Parks and Australian, David Graham, who is a US PGA Championship winner and PGA Tour Hall of Fame golfer.

For our third round, we head to the stunning, Jack Nicklaus designed Laem Chabang International Golf Resort where our field will play the final nine holes under floodlights for a unique golfing experience. Our final round will be held at one of the premier golf courses in South East Asia, the Plantation Course at the Siam Country Club.

On each competition day there were awards for the winners and runners-up for both A & B grade, while the overall SGA International title was awarded to the player who has the best 72-hole stableford score over the four tournament rounds.
