SGA NEWS - Full Refunds for Covid Cancellation of SGA Tournaments

With all the uncertainty around State borders and recent outbreaks of cases, we've had some inquiries about what happens if SGA Major Events cannot proceed, especially The 2020 SGA Championships in August, the SGA Sandbelt Classic in Sept/Oct and the SGA Tasman Classic in November.

We've planned with our event partners to have flexible refund policies, so golfers can enter with confidence knowing they can access full refunds if circumstances in the broader community force an event postponement or cancellation. All our golfers who had paid for our postponed Barnbougle trip in May, for example, received full refunds and we will do this for all our major events in 2020 if Covid restrictions intervene.

This means you can BOOK WITH TOTAL CONFIDENCE – knowing you can access FULL REFUNDS if required in the case of Govt regulations and/or outside agencies forcing travel restrictions or event cancellations.

In addition, if the situation in Victoria does not ease and the QLD Govt restricts Victorians entering QLD at the time of the tournament, we want to reassure you that the SGA Championships will still go ahead. The event is on the verge of booking out now and the Vics make up a little more than 1/3 of the field, so it will go ahead in that unfortunate scenario.
